Anugul, Sept. 7 (UDN): Anugul Municipality has secured the second position in Category-III of the national Swachh Vayu Sarvekshan, emerging among 130 cities assessed across the country.

The award was received in New Delhi by the Collector and District Magistrate of Anugul along with the Executive Officer of Anugul Municipality.

The latest recognition marks another achievement for the civic body, which has previously secured third positions in the national-level assessment on two occasions.

The honour reflects the sustained efforts of the municipality towards improving air quality, strengthening sanitation measures and promoting better public health standards in the city.

Municipal officials, sanitation workers and other stakeholders have been instrumental in implementing measures aimed at creating a cleaner and healthier urban environment.

The latest award has further highlighted Anugul Municipality’s continued efforts to improve environmental conditions and strengthen civic services.
