Bhubaneswar, Sept. 15 (UDN): President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday conveyed her warm wishes to the people of Odisha and citizens across the country on the occasion of Nuakhai, one of the most significant agrarian festivals celebrated in western Odisha.
The festival, deeply rooted in the agricultural traditions of the region, marks the offering of the season’s first harvested crop to the presiding deity. Nuakhai is celebrated with traditional rituals, family gatherings and community festivities across western Odisha and neighbouring areas.
