Kendrapada, Oct. 6 (UDN): The Regional Transport Office (RTO), Kendrapada, has advised applicants appearing for online driving tests to use the government-authorised portal for availing vehicle rental services required for practice or the final test.

According to an advisory issued by RTO Kendrapada, members of the public can book a vehicle for a demo, trial run or test practice before appearing for the final online driving examination.

Applicants have been urged to make payments only through the prescribed government portal and pay the applicable fees fixed by the authorities.

The initiative is aimed at making the driving test process more accessible and convenient for applicants while ensuring that vehicle rentals for test-related purposes are conducted through an authorised system.

The RTO has also urged applicants to rely only on official government channels and follow the prescribed procedures while booking vehicles for driving test purposes.

The advisory is part of the department’s broader efforts to promote transparent, technology-driven services and strengthen road safety measures across Odisha.
