Bhubaneswar, July 22: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will hold the next edition of the state’s public grievance hearing programme, Jana Sunani, on Monday, July 27, in Bhubaneswar, providing citizens with an opportunity to present their grievances directly before the Chief Minister.

The grievance hearing is scheduled to commence at 8 am at the former Government Primary School premises near Capital Nursery in Unit-II, Ashok Nagar.

Online Registration Begins July 22

The General Administration and Public Grievance Department has announced that online registration will open at 11 am on Wednesday (July 22).

Citizens wishing to participate can register through the Jana Sunani Portal or the Jana Sunani mobile application. Registration is mandatory to obtain a slot for the grievance hearing.

Documents Required

Officials have advised applicants to report to the venue at their allotted time along with the necessary documents to ensure a smooth and efficient hearing process.

Participants are required to carry:

• Registration acknowledgement receipt

• A valid photo identity proof

• A written copy of the grievance along with supporting documents, if any

Direct Interaction With the Chief Minister

The Jana Sunani programme is an initiative of the Odisha government that enables citizens to directly communicate their grievances and requests to the Chief Minister and senior officials, with the objective of ensuring prompt redressal and improving administrative accountability.

The upcoming session is expected to draw participants from across the state seeking resolution of issues related to public services, welfare schemes, land disputes, pensions, infrastructure and other governance-related matters.
