Bhubaneswar, July 31 (UDN): Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday reiterated the Central Government’s commitment to ensuring a fair, transparent and merit-based examination system, stating that safeguarding the aspirations of the country’s youth remains a national priority.

Sharing his views, the Chief Minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently placed the future of India’s students at the forefront of governance, with a focus on creating an examination framework that rewards merit, upholds integrity and inspires confidence among aspiring candidates.

Referring to the recently enacted legislation aimed at curbing question paper leaks and strengthening the conduct of public examinations, the Chief Minister said the reforms mark a significant step towards protecting the interests of millions of students across the country.

He noted that the new legal framework, coupled with broader examination reforms, is designed to enhance transparency, accountability and fairness in the recruitment and examination process, while ensuring strict action against those involved in malpractice.

“The Government’s efforts reflect its unwavering commitment to preserving the sanctity of public examinations and ensuring that every deserving student gets an equal opportunity to succeed through hard work and merit,” the Chief Minister said.

He added that the reforms reinforce public confidence in the examination system and reaffirm the Government’s resolve to build a transparent and credible framework for students and job aspirants nationwide.
