The decision follows weather advisories warning of soaring temperatures in several parts of the state. Educational institutions in the three districts have been instructed to adjust their schedules and conduct classes during the cooler hours of the day.
Officials said the revised timings are aimed at reducing students’ exposure to intense afternoon heat and preventing heat-related health issues. Schools have also been advised to ensure adequate drinking water facilities and take all necessary precautions for the safety and well-being of students.
Parents and guardians have been urged to encourage children to stay hydrated and follow heat safety guidelines while attending school.
The district administrations will continue to monitor weather conditions and may review the decision based on further forecasts and advisories issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The revised morning school schedule will remain in force until June 25, unless extended or modified through subsequent orders.
