Jajpur, Apr 14 (BNP): In a sensational development, police in Jajpur have arrested a woman and her alleged lover for the murder of her husband, a young businessman, in a case that has sent shockwaves across Odisha.

The deceased has been identified as Soumya Sagar Samal. According to police, the crime was the result of a premeditated conspiracy allegedly hatched by the victim’s wife in connection with an extramarital relationship.

Investigations revealed that the businessman was brutally murdered in a planned attack, with the accused reportedly involving her paramour in executing the crime. The incident came to light after police uncovered key evidence pointing to a deliberate plot.

Both the accused have been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the sequence of events and gather additional evidence. The body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem examination.
