Augustinus Bader Celebrity Facialist and WWD Skin Savior of the Year, Lord Gavin McLeod-Valentine, treated a curated list of talent to The Method, the brand’s signature facial powered by proprietary TFC8® technology. Designed to revitalise, sculpt and deeply hydrate the skin, the treatment creates a smooth, plump canvas for seamless makeup application and a luminous red-carpet glow.
The Method combines science-based formulas, advanced technology and state-of-the-art massage techniques to send an external activation to the fascia, where all the cell communication processes take place. The Red-Carpet Skin Prep
The Augustinus Bader red-carpet skin preparation brought together a targeted regimen designed to hydrate, sculpt and refresh the skin ahead of makeup application.
The treatment began with The Cleansing Balm, applied alongside a gentle massage to release tension in the neck and jaw and encourage blood flow. This was followed by The Foaming Cleanser, which removes impurities and prepares the skin for active products.
An oxygen infusion powered with hyaluronic acid, glycerin, squalane and Vitamins A, C and E was then used to build a reservoir of hydration, followed by The Elixir, which helps boost collagen, enhance elasticity and refine the appearance of skin texture.
The Face Oil was applied using a facial massage inspired by the ancient Japanese art of Kobido, followed by Effleurage. The Hydrogel Face Mask visibly hydrates, plumps and illuminates the skin, while cryo sticks are used underneath the cheekbones and through the temples to support lymphatic drainage.
The final stages included The Rich Eye Cream to refresh the eye area, The Rich Cream to seal in the results following radiofrequency treatment and Contour Kinetic Suction, and The Eye Patches to prep the under-eye area for makeup. The Face Mist completed the treatment, adding to the skin’s glow.
