Bhubaneswar, June 8 (UDN): The Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha, has invited applications from eligible Odisha-domiciled candidates for its Free UPSC Civil Services Residential Coaching Programme for the academic session 2026-27.

The initiative aims to support talented and aspiring civil service candidates by providing high-quality residential coaching free of cost, helping them prepare effectively for the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination.

According to the official notification, the online application process commenced on June 8. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the designated portal within the stipulated timeline.

Selection of candidates will be conducted through an eligibility-cum-screening examination scheduled to be held on June 28, 2026. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive coaching, study materials, mentoring, and residential facilities as part of the programme.

The scheme reflects the Odisha Government’s continued commitment to promoting excellence in higher education and creating greater opportunities for the state’s youth to secure positions in India’s premier civil services.
