April 15: VFS Global has been appointed as an Authorised Visa Agent (AVA) for Singapore visa services in Chandigarh and Chennai. The appointment has been made by the High Commission of the Republic of Singapore in New Delhi and the Consulate-General of Singapore in Chennai, respectively, to enhance accessibility and convenience for applicants in Punjab and Tamil Nadu.
With this development, applicants can now submit their Singapore visa applications for tourist, family visit, and business categories at VFS Global’s state-of-the-art Visa Application Centres in Chandigarh and Chennai. The initiative aims to streamline the application process and offer a more seamless experience to travellers.

VFS Global currently provides visa services for 54 countries in India and operates a network of 562 Visa Application Centres, with further expansion planned.
Applicants are advised that VFS Global’s role is limited to administrative and non-judgmental tasks, including the collection of visa application forms, required documentation, and biometric enrolment where applicable. The decision to grant or refuse a visa remains the sole prerogative of the respective diplomatic mission.
