Telangana State Arekatika Association President Election Postponed

 

Hyderabad, Oct 02: The elections for the President of the Telangana State Arekatika Association, scheduled to be held on October 2, have been temporarily postponed due to unavoidable circumstances, announced the Election Committee Chairman, Sri Jamalpur Balaraj, and Secretary Chandrasekhar.

The Arekatika Election Committee appealed to all members of the community to extend their cooperation and support to ensure the smooth conduct of the election process. Arekatika Election Committee Secretary Chandrasekhar announced that the existing voter list will be completely cancelled and a new voter list will be prepared.

The preparation of the new voter list is expected to take approximately four months. During this period, eligible voters will be identified from all mandals, towns, Assembly constituencies and districts across Telangana, along with voters from Greater Hyderabad.

The Arekatika Election Committee stated that the new voter list will be prepared in a transparent and systematic manner, following which the election for the State President will be conducted in a fair and transparent manner. Arekatika Election Committee further clarified that a decision on the new election schedule will be taken and announced after the preparation of the new voter list.

Members of the Arekatika Election Committee, candidates contesting for the President’s post, and senior community leaders were present on the occasion.
