July 21: Raffles Udaipur has been recognised as the Corporate Winner in the Sustainable Tourism & Hospitality category at the Times Internet Ecopreneur Awards 2026. The award celebrates organisations that are driving environmental impact through innovation, responsible business practices and sustainable growth.

The recognition acknowledges Raffles Udaipur’s commitment to integrating sustainability with luxury hospitality. Set on a private island amidst the tranquil Udai Sagar Lake, the resort continues to champion responsible tourism through sustainable operational practices. Some of these initiatives include treating and reusing 100% of wastewater for landscape irrigation, implementing water conservation measures that reduce consumption by up to 70% in key operational areas, promoting low-carbon mobility, and eliminating single-use plastic water bottles through its in-house water bottling plant, which provides drinking water in reusable glass bottles across the property.
