Visakhapatnam, Aug 10: Food lovers in Visakhapatnam can experience the royal flavours of Hyderabad as Zaffran, the Indian specialty restaurant at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, hosts the Nizami Food Festival from 14–23 August 2026. The limited-period festival brings together signature dishes, live cooking stations, Ghazal performances and heritage-inspired décor, offering city diners an accessible way to enjoy one of India’s most celebrated culinary traditions.

Inspired by the kitchens of the Nizams, the specially curated menu showcases the distinct blend of Persian, Turkish, Mughlai and Telugu influences that shaped Hyderabadi cuisine. Guests can look forward to popular favourites such as Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, Haleem, Marag, Pathar Ka Gosht, Nihari, Double Ka Meetha, Qubani Ka Meetha, Sheer Khurma and Irani Chai, prepared with traditional recipes, aromatic spices and slow-cooking techniques.

Designed as more than a dining promotion, the festival aims to give guests a complete cultural experience. The restaurant will feature live cooking stations, soulful Ghazal performances and décor inspired by Hyderabad’s royal heritage, creating an atmosphere suited for families, food enthusiasts and weekend diners in the city.
