MarkNext Group Appoints Nabeel A Khan to Lead Global Business and Steer Its Upcoming Next‑Gen Media Ventures

New Delhi, September 21, 2026: MarkNext Group, a next-generation media, reputation intelligence and communications advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Nabeel A. Khan to lead the group’s global operations as it plans to expand into new markets. A new media pioneer and communications leader, Khan will assume the dual responsibilities of Group Chief Executive Officer and Editor-in-Chief, leading the firm’s new media ventures across India, the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

Khan brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of journalism, corporate communications and strategic leadership. He was the Founding Editor of The Economic Times Verticals, where he pioneered new business media formats and knowledge platforms. He also held senior editorial roles at Network18. Transitioning into the corporate sphere, Khan most recently served as Deputy Vice-President & Head of PR, Communications & Public Affairs at French carmaker Renault India. He was earlier Country Head – Middle East for Motherson Group, one of the world’s largest auto component multinationals.

In his role as Group CEO, Khan will oversee MarkNext Group’s growth and expansion, driving the strategic vision for its reputation intelligence, public relations and corporate communications advisory businesses. Concurrently, as Editor-in-Chief, he will architect the editorial direction and launch of the Group’s upcoming new media platform, ensuring a definitive, high-signal voice in global industry reporting.

Commenting on his new role, Khan said: “The media and communications landscape is at a critical inflection point. With the proliferation of AI and social media, there is a massive overflow of information and increasing noise, while clarity, quality and credibility (CQC) have been pushed to the edge. MarkNext Group’s agenda is to emerge as the solution to these new-age challenges in news, information and communication. Through our advisory arms and our upcoming media venture, our mission is to cut through the static and deliver high-signal intelligence and reporting that truly matters.”

The appointment aligns with MarkNext Group’s rapid expansion plans as it positions itself at the nexus of strategic decision-making, offering integrated media and communications solutions for a fast-evolving corporate world. With Dubai and the wider Middle East increasingly expanding their business and economic focus beyond tourism towards technology, innovation and new business ventures, the region presents a significant opportunity for MarkNext Group to build partnerships, deepen its market presence and develop its next-generation media and communications businesses.
