The event was attended by leading policymakers, healthcare administrators, clinicians, and industry stakeholders from across India.

Authored by senior healthcare leader and Amazon best-selling author Joydeep Dasgupta, the biography offers an in-depth account of Dr. Gyani’s extraordinary journey as a reformer, mentor, institution builder, and pioneer of healthcare quality and accreditation in India. It highlights his decades-long influence across public and private healthcare institutions, emphasizing his steadfast commitment to ethics, patient safety, and system-wide excellence.

The publication features a distinguished foreword by Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Chairman of Apollo Hospitals Group, and Dr. Devi Shetty, Chairman of Narayana Health, underlining Dr. Gyani’s national and global impact on modern healthcare standards.

Speaking at the event, Dr. M. I. Sahadulla, National President of the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI), said,

Sale, Vice President of the AHPI Maharashtra Chapter, formally honoured Dr. Gyani with the Maharashtra Safa, acknowledging his unparalleled contributions to Indian healthcare.
