Roorkee, India  Dec 10:- IIT Roorkee marked a memorable occasion with the Silver Jubilee Reunion of the 2000 (2001 B.Arch.) Batch. The three-day event brought together more than 250 alumni and their families, celebrating nostalgia, camaraderie, and a renewed commitment to supporting their alma mater.

Demonstrating exceptional generosity, the batch contributed approximately INR 3 crore towards key institutional initiatives, including infrastructure development, cultural enhancements, and other impactful projects designed to strengthen IIT Roorkee’s legacy.

Expressing heartfelt appreciation, Prof. K.K. Pant, Director of IIT Roorkee, said, 

“The connection between our alumni and IIT Roorkee remains a lasting pillar of strength. Echoing this sentiment, Prof. R.D. Garg, Dean of Resources & Alumni Affairs, remarked,

Sharing his thoughts, batch coordinator Mr. Ashutosh Suvarna and Mr. Sachin Bansal said,

 “IIT Roorkee is a big part of our identity and shaped us into who we are today. It feels incredible to return to the institute and contribute in our own small way.”
