The morning sessions featured thematic research presentations and interactive discussions focused on community engagement, inclusive development, climate resilience, and the integration of CSR with ESG frameworks. Scholars and practitioners highlighted the shift from activity-based CSR to long-term, community-anchored approaches supported by robust monitoring and evaluation. Presenters emphasised the need for collaborative models that connect academic insights, corporate resources, and local institutional capacities to create sustainable impact across rural livelihoods, education, and social development.

In the afternoon, the conference hosted a special segment dedicated to NGOs working across Bihar and neighbouring regions. Organisations including Kaushalya Foundation, Integrated Development Foundation, PCI, Passion Powered by Professionalism (P3), ANK Foundation, Paritosh, Project Potential, and Gram Swaraj shared their field experiences and innovative approaches. Their presentations covered interventions in livelihoods, women’s empowerment, WASH systems, youth leadership, and grassroots institutional strengthening, illustrating how civil society initiatives complement CSR and public development priorities. The session reinforced the conference’s emphasis on cross-sector partnerships and the critical role of community organisations in bridging last-mile development gaps.

The event also featured the presentation of the respective awards instituted under ICCSR 2025, including the Best Paper Award and the recognition for Best CSR Practices. These awards acknowledged both rigorous academic contributions and exemplary field-based models that demonstrate measurable and inclusive development outcomes.
