Bhubaneswar, Aug. 20 (UDN): The Odisha government has taken a major step towards strengthening the state’s school education infrastructure and improving access to quality education.

As part of the initiative, foundation stones have been laid for 322 Godabarish Mishra Adarsha Prathamik Vidyalayas in two phases across the state.
The initiative is aimed at creating better learning environments and strengthening basic educational infrastructure at the primary level.

Under the broader programme, the government has earmarked Rs 12,000 crore for the development and upgradation of around 2,200 schools across Odisha.
The investment is expected to support the creation and improvement of essential school infrastructure, providing students with better facilities and a more conducive environment for learning.
The government said the initiative reflects its commitment to strengthening the foundation of school education and ensuring that students across the state have access to quality educational facilities.
