Bengaluru, Aug 18: FirstClub Technology Private Limited, India’s only quality-first grocery app, announced the appointment of Sonika Pranay as Head of People & Culture.

Sonika brings on board over 15 years of experience across the Flipkart Group and cure.fit, joining FirstClub’s leadership team as the company strengthens its leadership bench and scales its people and culture agenda.

At FirstClub, Sonika will lead the People & Culture function, with a focus on building a strong people and culture agenda, developing high-performing teams, enabling talent and leadership development, and fostering organizational culture as the company scales.

Commenting on the appointment, Ayyappan R, Founder and CEO, FirstClub, said,

Prior to joining FirstClub, Sonika was Director – HR at SuperMoney. Prior to this, she was HR Head at Cleartrip and has also held the role of Deputy Director – People & Culture at Myntra. Earlier in her career, she was Strategic HR Lead at cure.fit. Across these roles, she has built expertise in talent management, HR business partnering, rewards, organizational design, and building people-first cultures at high-growth consumer and tech companies. Sonika holds an MBA in Human Resources from NMIMS.
