Bhubaneswar, Aug. 10 (UDN): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to hand over appointment letters to 1,326 selected candidates at a Niyukti Mela in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

The appointment ceremony will be held at the Rail Auditorium, where candidates selected for various government positions across nine departments will formally receive their job letters.

Housing & Urban Development Gets Highest Share

According to official sources, the Housing and Urban Development Department has the highest number of appointments, with 364 candidates receiving appointment letters.

It is followed closely by the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, which accounts for 361 appointments, while the Energy Department has 240 posts.

Focus On Government Employment

The Niyukti Mela is part of the Odisha government’s ongoing recruitment initiatives aimed at providing employment opportunities to young people across the State.

The government has been organising such appointment programmes to expedite the recruitment process and ensure that selected candidates receive their appointment letters through a formal platform.

The event is expected to bring together the newly selected candidates and senior government officials, with the Chief Minister handing over appointment letters to several beneficiaries.
