Bhubaneswar, July 24 (UDN): The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Odisha, has released the second phase merit list for Plus II admissions for the 2026-27 academic session, with 46,570 students securing seats across higher secondary schools in the state.
According to official data, 87,549 applicants were considered during the second round of admissions. Of the total selected candidates, 25,874 students secured admission through the slide-up option, while 25,410 applicants who opted for slide-up did not receive an upgraded allotment. Another 15,569 applicants remained unselected in the second phase.
Stream-wise Selection
Among the selected candidates, the Arts stream recorded the highest number of admissions with 32,782 students, followed by Science (11,297), Commerce (2,083), Vocational (261) and Sanskrit (147).
