Bhubaneswar,June 2 (BNP): Odisha’s Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district is likely to witness two high-profile visits later this month, with President Droupadi Murmu expected to visit on June 19 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi likely to arrive on June 20, according to sources.

President Murmu, who hails from Rairangpur, is expected to visit her hometown as part of her scheduled programme, adding special significance to the visit for local residents and officials.
Prime Minister Modi’s proposed visit on June 20 is expected to focus on development initiatives in the region. Sources indicate that the Prime Minister may announce and inaugurate several key projects, including laying the foundation stone for Odisha’s first Indian Institute of Forest Management, a major institution aimed at strengthening education and research in forestry and environmental management.
Both dignitaries are also likely to participate in inauguration and foundation stone-laying ceremonies related to multiple infrastructure and development projects in Mayurbhanj district, particularly in the Bamanghati region. Preparations and security arrangements are reportedly underway ahead of the proposed visits, though an official detailed itinerary is yet to be released.
