Payments Heroes League (PHL) 2026 Announces Corporate Cricket Showcase in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, May 02: Payments Heroes League (PHL), India’s premier corporate cricket platform for the Payments, Fintech, and BFSI ecosystem, hosted a press conference in Bhubaneswar to officially announce the much-anticipated PHL 2026 edition.

The press conference brought together key stakeholders of the league, including 4 team and their captains Chinmay Patra from Spartan, Soumya Mohanty from Troy, Basudev Behera from Gladiators, and Dev Kalyan Sahani from Nimurai, along with franchise owners, Debiprasad Sarangi, Umakanta Sahoo, Sanjib Parida and Abinash Nanda.

Speaking at the press conference, Debiprasad Sarangi, Franchise Owner – Spartan and CEO of iServeU said:

Scheduled to take place from May 2 to May 8, 2026, at the KIIT Cricket Ground, Bhubaneswar, Payments Heroes League (PHL) 2026 will follow a T20 format and feature a unique blend of former Ranji-level cricketers and corporate professionals. The league aims to create a platform that combines competitive sport with industry networking and brand-building opportunities.

PHL 2026 is supported by leading industry players including Axis Bank (Title Sponsor), IDFC First Bank, Union Bank, DCB Bank Trendit, Eshopbox,  Zenisk, Lyra, Morefun, mPurse,Livlong Vodafone, Campa Cola, and Decathlon.

The league’s inauguration is scheduled for May 2, 2026, followed by a week-long series of matches culminating in the grand finale on May 8, 2026, at the KIIT Cricket Ground.

With its unique format and strong industry participation, PHL 2026 is poised to set a new benchmark in corporate sporting events, reinforcing the growing synergy between sports, business, and community engagement.
