Mrs. Satyavati, a differently abled woman from Dibbapalem village, had been struggling to support her two children after separating from her husband. With the Adani Foundation’s support, she established Jesus Vegetable Shop, selling groceries, vegetables, and beverages. Today, she is financially self-reliant, while her children have resumed their studies, reflecting the holistic impact of the intervention.

Similarly, Erupalli Daivamani, the primary caregiver for her elderly parents is 95% disabled and cannot go out and work. However, through proper help and support she has now started Dayamani Fancy & Bangles to run her household. Previously limited by her circumstances, she now runs a small business successfully, gradually improving her household finances.

A group of five women, including K. Devi, Padma, Lakshmi, P. Nookaratnam, and G. Komali, came together to establish Gangaputra Fancy & Kirana Stores with the support from the Adani Foundation. Pooling their skills and resources, they started a grocery business that has strengthened their family incomes and enabled them to provide education for their children.

Their stories demonstrate how access to skills, guidance, and resources can empower women to uplift their families and inspire the wider community.
